The East CCI of Norway is a non-governmental, non-profit association funded by membership fees. Membership fees cover the costs associated with implementing various events offered to members within the Networking Arena Oslo. For joint events held outside this arena, participation fees may apply.
Membership Conditions
Membership in the East CCI of Norway is open to companies registered in Norway or in Partner Countries, as well as non-commercial organizations, institutions, and individuals with a personal interest in the respective markets. Members should be involved in or intending to engage in multilateral trade or projects.
To apply for membership, please complete the application form on our website, detailing your company’s engagement in Norway or partner countries and the services you wish to offer. Upon approval by the Board of Directors and receipt of payment, your information will be added to the Member Directory of the East CCI of Norway and used for promotional purposes to various organizations, institutions, companies, and authorities in both partner countries and Norway.
Approval of New Members
All membership applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors, which may approve or reject them. The decision will be communicated to the applicant. If approved, you will receive an information package and an invoice for the annual membership fee. The fee must be paid in full within two weeks of receiving the invoice.
Cancellation of Membership
To ensure a stable flow of activities and services, membership is valid for the calendar year and automatically renews each January. To cancel your membership, send a cancellation notice to the administration by email or postal mail before October 1st of the current calendar year. The cancellation will take effect on January 1st of the following year.
If you notify us after October 1st, your membership will be automatically renewed for the upcoming year, and the cancellation will be effective only at the end of that year.
Fees for 2024
The Board of Directors has set the following membership fee categories for the year 2024:
For company members, the fee categories are based on the company’s turnover. If a company belongs to a group, the fee will be based on the consolidated turnover of the group. For companies with a domestic parent company, the fee is based on the group’s consolidated turnover. For Norwegian companies with a non-Norwegian parent company, the fee is based on the turnover of the Norwegian company and its subsidiaries. This applies vice versa for companies in partner countries.
If a company within a group has business activities that fall outside the core activities of other group companies, the Board may decide to set the membership fee based on the isolated turnover of that company.
Please note that the membership fee covers a calendar year, from the date of the Board’s approval until December 31st of the same year.
