Networking Arena Oslo, 25th of January 2023
During our traditional networking meeting in Oslo, our partner of cooperation from Lithuania – the Norwegian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (NLCC) represented by Executive Director Martyna Skisaker introduced business opportunities in Lithuania to our members. A member of the NLCC, GOD Lithuania, an IT company, by Neringa Lenciauskaite, Global Resource Manager, presented wishes for cooperation with Norwegian members.
Hans-Olav Rekdal, Managing Director of the East Office of Norway (EO) announced that during the first quartal of 2023 we aim to realize our first business delegation to Lithuania. He introduced three new member companies of the EO, i.e., Navatech, Tanager, Epak Nordic, Sandnes, and the chambers’ very first member from Turkiye – OctoAqua, Izmir. Rekdal invited all guests to the forthcoming breakfast meeting on 17th of February, where the focus will be on business opportunities in Kazakhstan.

Special Advisor Rune Sundland from the Secretariat of the Norwegian Export Advisory Council introduced Norway ́s new industrial export strategy: status, outlook, and priorities. As well, an informative economic outlook regarding the Norwegian and international economy was given by Economist Bård Ola Tjønneland from the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO).
Senior Research Fellow Tor Bukkvoll from the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) gave a thorough presentation about the ongoing war in Ukraine and development in the Russian-Ukrainian relations per medio January 2023.
