On April 23rd, 2024, the Chamber, in collaboration with the Kazakhstan Embassy in Oslo, organized a breakfast meeting at the Bristol Hotel. The event aimed to foster partnerships and promote bilateral cooperation between businesses in Norway and Kazakhstan.
During the gathering, representatives from two prominent Kazakh companies, aquaculture company Organic Fish and “National Company Aktau Sea Commercial Port” JSC, showcased their activities alongside our esteemed member company and partner, Felleskjøpet. The exchange of ideas and experiences highlighted the vast array of opportunities and possibilities available across various sectors for our members.
Following the breakfast meeting, productive B2B sessions ensued, providing an opportunity for delegates from Kazakhstan to engage with their Norwegian counterparts. A dinner was also arranged for the visiting Kazakh delegation, further facilitating networking and relationship-building with the presence of His Excellencies Ambassadors Adil Tursunov and John Mikal Kvikstad and the Chair of the Board of Directors Marit Hiim Haugseth.
