🌊 Black Sea–Norwegian Aquaculture Cluster at the 11th Aquaculture Workshop & 1st Aquaculture Fair in Türkiye, February 2026 🌊
The Black Sea–Norwegian Aquaculture Cluster, led by the EAST Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Norway, participated in the 11th Aquaculture Workshop and the 1st Aquaculture Fair, held between 4–8 February 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye 🇹🇷🐟, organized by the SUYMERBIR – the Central Union of Aquaculture Producers.
These landmark events brought together industry professionals, producers, technology providers, and academics from Türkiye and aboard, creating a strong platform to discuss the future of aquaculture, share innovative and sustainable solutions, and exchange insights on the latest developments shaping the sector.
As part of the official Market Visit program, we had the opportunity to present the Black Sea–Norwegian Aquaculture Cluster during the main program, highlighting cross-border collaboration and innovation. We were also pleased to co-organize a joint dinner with the Central Union of Aquaculture Producers, bringing together its leadership and key members, and enabling high-level dialogue with the country’s main aquaculture stakeholders.
Throughout the program, we engaged in productive B2B meetings, strengthened partnerships, and explored new opportunities for cooperation within the Turkish aquaculture industry 🤝
The long-standing Aquaculture Workshop, combined for the first time with the Aquaculture Türkiye Fair, marked an important step toward positioning Türkiye in the global sustainable aquaculture.
