On July 5, the Norwegian Aquaculture Cluster, NAC, originated from EAST CCI of Norway, made a fact-finding visit to the leading aquaculture company Cromaris, Croatia. The aim was to strengthen collaboration in the sector, using latest sustainable technologies.
The delegation was introduced to the history of Cromaris from its very establishment, the different fish species, technical solutions, and future aims of the company, as well the success stories that has made Cromaris the leading aququaculture farmer in Croatia. The Norwegian side presented latest innovation solutions within the whole aquaculture chain. New meetings were discussed for our increased future development within organic aquaculture farming. The parties strongly believed that both countries will benefit from an even closer cooperation within Green transition solutions within the aquaculture sector and other industrial sectors.
On July 3, the delegation also met with His Excellency Ambassador Håkon Blankenborg, i.e., Ambassador of Norway to Croatia and with Director of Croatia Shipbuilder Association, Ruder Friganovic in Zagreb, Croatia. Discussions in this meeting had a focus on how to strengthen bilateral cooperation in shipbuilding, and other industrial sectors. We highly appreciate the great efforts from the Ambassador Håkon Blankenborg and the Director Ruder Friganovic for their professional attention to our visit.
